Divinum Guides Hub
Walkthroughs for combat, exploration, trials, and the first days after the 28 August 2026 launch.
This hub is the map for every Divinum how-to on the wiki. Sigil Games shipped a compact, stylish 2D action-adventure on Steam: you play Fjør on a northern island, juggle invaders in the air, and unlock ancestral Runes instead of collecting bland attack-percent trinkets. If you only open one page tonight, start with the getting started guide and keep combat combos in a second tab.
Divinum launched on 28 August 2026 for Windows and macOS. It is a single-player campaign with Steam Cloud, forty-five achievements, full controller support, and a Steam Deck Verified badge. A demo remains on the store page, which is useful if you want to test dash timing before you buy. Consoles are a later-platform note on the official site — they are not a launch platform.
How to use these guides
Read in this order unless you already finished the prologue:
- Getting started — install, HUD, first shards, first shop, and how to stop mashing.
- Combat combos — launch windows, uppercuts, perfect blocks, projectile swats, and Fury.
- Map and exploration — Tab map, Sanctite, life and mana shards, sequence breaks.
- Collectibles and Sanctite — shop currency, shard routing, and what the rune menu is actually counting.
- Bosses and cleansing trials — story fights plus the optional rooms that make launch-week reviews mention sore hands.
- Achievements — how to hunt the 45 Steam trophies without a fake name table.
- Review — what Steam players praise, what still bugs, and who the game is for.
When a sentence tells you to change loadout, jump to rune builds or the rune tier list. Keyboard and pad layouts live on controls. Known launch bugs sit in launch notes.
What players actually search
Launch-week queries cluster around four jobs, not around gacha codes. Divinum is a premium Steam title. There is nothing to redeem.
- How to play / how to combo. People bounce if they treat it like a one-button Metroidvania. The game wants variety: ground string, launch, air extras, dash cancel, then a perfect block to shove a foe toward stun. Our combo guide is written for that muscle memory.
- How to beat trials. Steam reviews keep calling tier-three cleansing rituals brutal. Come back with shards, a different weapon, or a Fury-focused skill page instead of bashing the same string fifty times.
- How to find secrets. The island hides caves, catacombs, forests, and sacred ruins. Sanctite now has a magnet pickup from the late demo, but shards still sit off-route. Use the exploration guide and the collectibles page.
- How to 100% Steam. Forty-five achievements shipped. We will not invent the titles. Hunt by bucket on achievements.
- Is it worth $14.99? Early Steam sentiment is Positive (97% of 45 user reviews on a launch-week snapshot). Combat is the star; length, collision bugs, and missing dialogue portraits are the caveats. The review collects that without spoiling every boss.
Combat in one paragraph
Fjør carries two distinct primary weapons and a kit of mana skills. Enemies do not hurt you by standing on your sprite — only telegraphed hits count — so you can stay greedy in a pile until a swing actually starts. Launch a stunned target and the air becomes your playground: extra attacks, directional dashes, and splash from certain Runes. Perfect block is strong and expensive. If mana hits zero the moment a block resolves, Fjør eats a heavy stun. That single rule is why skills and Fury and the weapon guide belong next to any boss page.
Island loop
Above ground you get lakes, towers, and windy stairs. Below ground you get lantern-lit halls, cyan soulfire, and bosses such as the Elite Sentinel of Soulfire. The rune menu tracks how many life and mana shards you have banked. The shop can show more items at once than it did in early playtests. None of that replaces learning the map, because Divinum still hides rewards behind looks-up, looks-down, and rooms you can only re-enter after a movement upgrade.
