Divinum Weapons Guide

Two primaries, one HUD icon, and the swap that keeps a juggle alive.

Weapons and Stance Swaps

Fjør is a two-weapon character. The store page says it, the HUD shows an active arm under the mana bar, and the combo system expects you to treat the swap as a string tool. This page is the practical weapon guide. Rankings sit on the weapon tier list. Strings sit on combat combos.

We will not pretend a complete named armoury exists in public patch notes on day two. We will describe the jobs the two primaries already have, how the release-date trailer teased another arm, and how to practise a swap without dropping a dash.

Why two weapons exist

A single endless light string would make Divinum a pretty slash-em-up. Two stances make it a character-action game:

  • One arm is usually better at building stun or covering space on the ground.
  • The other is usually better at air damage, projectile coverage, or a different timing that recaptures a falling body.

If you never swap, you can still finish the story. You will hit a trial that wanted the other timing. That is the design talking, not a skill issue essay.

The mid-page demo footage is useful as a motion study: watch how often the swing arc changes even when the player is not narrating a swap.

How to practise the swap

  1. Bind weapon swap next to attack, not in a submenu claw. See controls.
  2. In a fodder room, play ten strings with weapon A only, ten with B only, then ten that swap after the uppercut.
  3. If the combo counter dies on the swap, you swapped during a whiff. Swap on a confirmed hit.
  4. Park the version that launches as your “open,” and the version that melts air HP as your “spend.”

That is the whole drill. Stylish players add a perfect block before the swap so mana and Fury both notice the mix. Resource rules are on skills and Fury.

Release-trailer steel

July 2026 news from Sigil Games promised a new trailer with a first look at a brand-new weapon. Treat extra arms as additional stances, not as a loot treadmill. When you unlock one:

  • Spend a minute on the first three hits.
  • Ask which job it stole: stun, air, projectile, or panic.
  • If it does nothing a current primary already does better, it is a novelty until a Rune synergises with it.

Do not scrap a working rune build because a trailer looked cool.

Pairing weapons with rooms

Open surface rooms. Either primary is fine. Prioritise the cleaner uppercut.

Low caves. Grounded alternate uppercut plus the shorter swing. Long cinematic arms will clip ceilings and your pride.

Catacomb beams. The arm that swats or covers space. Elite Sentinel of Soulfire is a weapon exam as much as a dodge exam.

Horde rituals. Wide ground coverage first, air melt second. Swapping into a skinny air tool while five bodies are still standing is how stylish deaths happen.

Weapons are not Runes

A weapon is a timing. A Rune is a rule. If your string is slow, change weapon. If your string is fine but the room still does not die, change Runes. Mixing those diagnoses is how people write “game is unbalanced” posts on day one. The builds hub exists so you can separate the two.

Maintenance after patches

Sigil Games listed balance as a post-launch job. Weapon timings are exactly the sort of thing that will shift. When a patch lands, re-run the ten-and-ten-and-ten drill before you rewrite your identity. Track the note on launch notes or the roadmap.

If you came here from the getting started checklist, your only homework is: both icons on the HUD have been used in the last combat room. That bar is the entire beginner weapon guide.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many weapons does Fjør use?

Two distinct primaries at the core of the kit, with extra arms shown around launch marketing. Swap inside strings; see this guide and combat combos.

When should I swap weapons?

On a confirmed hit, usually after you have stun or a launch. Swapping on a miss resets the counter.

Did the release trailer add a new weapon?

Sigil Games said the July 2026 trailer included a first look at a new weapon. Treat it as another stance and rank it on the weapon tier list once you have used it.
